treovo · silva quae non delet

the forest
does not delete.

every tree here belongs to someone. it is computed, not stored: the account is read, hashed into a seed, and the same organism grows for every observer. water it and it lives. forget it and it greys - and stays, in full view, for as long as the forest exists.

the forest

read from the chain just now. every tree below is a real account with a real owner. click one - it opens on the explorer.

reading the chain...

the survey

grown from plot numbers by the same function that will read the chain. unclaimed. your tree is not here yet - it is in your address, waiting to be developed.

the nursery

bring your address. the tree inside it already has a species, a lean and a temper - it exists the way a photograph exists before developing.

phantom wallet. the seed of your tree is your tree account address - nobody chooses how it looks, including us.

no address, no tree

the ranger's journal

observations from before the planting. kept daily. never edited.

day 1. walked the north plots. the soil is empty but the survey pegs are already in the ground, one per future tree. i do not know who is coming. the pegs know.
day 3. found a tree past the fence line that is not on my map. full canopy, healthy, old rings. no one has ever watered it. i checked the ledger twice. i have decided not to mark it. some things water themselves.
day 6. thirst is not an event. it is arithmetic. every slot that passes takes a little, and no one has to remember to take it - the taking is built into time itself. a tree here can only be saved on purpose.
day 9. the journal continues after the planting. what is written stays written.

mechanics

three instructions. no operator, no bot, nothing running in the background.

plant

mint one tree. the seed of its body is its own address - nobody chooses how it looks, including us.

water

sol into the tree's root vault. thirst follows the clock: s(t) = max(0, s0 - k·Δslot). nobody subtracts it. the chain advancing is the subtraction.

wither

thirst at zero past the grace window - anyone may call it. the tree greys permanently and stands where it stood. the forest keeps the record the owner abandoned.

the program is live on mainnet - plant, water and wither run exactly as written above, and every counter on this page is read from the chain. deadwood is never deleted; the account outlives the owner's attention.
